Job Description

Off Season is seeking a curious, motivated, and highly organized Assistant Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their fashion career to contribute creatively to the design process while learning the inner workings of a fast-paced, forward-thinking brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design team in the development of seasonal collections from concept to final sample
  • Assist with trend research, mood boards, color palettes, and inspiration presentations
  • Create and update tech packs, line sheets, artwork requests, and CADs
  • Organize and track samples, fabrics, trims, and swatches
  • Update PLM system as needed throughout development process
  • Upload styles to Brand Comply and keep up to date with league approvals
  • Communicate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely development
  • Attend fittings and take detailed notes, ensuring updates are communicated accurately
  • Maintain the design archive and digital asset organization
  • Provide general administrative support to the design team as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a design-related role or strong internship experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong sketching and CAD skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and fabric
  • Passion for emerging fashion, lifestyle trends, and minimalist design
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and strong communication skills
