Clay Furniture has been providing superior custom built cabinetry and millwork for over 40 years. We have built a reputation by providing quality products, integrity, and valued customer service.
Clay Furniture works with General Contractors, subcontractors, commercial and retail companies. We work with our customers from the initial plans, to estimating and providing shop drawings to final completion of the millwork. Specializing in laminate, solid surface and many types of wood to customize exactly what the customer needs.
This Position
We are looking for a full-time, cabinet fabricator to operate our panel saw. In this position, you will load full sheets of plywood into a large saw and cut all the smaller cabinet components the rest of our team will then assemble into our custom cabinets. The ideal candidate must be good with numbers, and very detail oriented. You will regularly be asked to measure parts exactly, convert decimals to fractions, and fractions to decimals. The ideal candidate should be familiar with a wood shop, if not having worked in one for some time. Experience on a panel saw is preferred, but not required. There is significant room for advancement as we are making investments in staff and machinery.
Compensation
$18-$4/hour, dependent on experience
