Job Description

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards. Responsibilities include unloading product from trailer by hand or hand cart in all weather conditions, completing all paperwork according to company and governmental guidelines, ensuring food safety protocols are met, maintaining sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer, developing good customer relationships by providing excellent service, and other duties as assigned by management. Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and be insurable to operate a vehicle. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices is required. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds by hand and pushing/pulling up to 350 pounds with a hand cart, climbing in and out of vehicles, and working in various weather conditions. Work environment includes exposure to wet, hot, cold, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and occasional high places or fumes. Schedule includes overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
