BT is seeking a strategic Chief People Officer(CPO) to lead our people and culture initiatives and services for ≈500 partners and associates. The ideal candidate is looking to join a collaborative, growth-oriented firm focused on our People-First culture, associate satisfaction and their career development.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CPO will lead our people and culture initiatives aligned with our long-term strategic objectives defined by the Board and Leadership Team.The CPO will be a highly motivated and accountable individual capable of helping drive our human capital strategy, championing a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment between our people operations and business objectives. Serving as a trusted advisor to the Board and Leadership Team, the CPO will strengthen a world class culture in a dynamic environment and translate business needs into outstanding people programs. This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters and the individual will need to be in the office 3-4 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement people strategies, initiatives, and programs to support business growth and service objectives.
  • Drive organizational change and workforce planning to support scalability and growth.
  • Foster a strong, inclusive, and values-driven culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Proven ability to develop future leaders through internal and external resources.
  • Lead employee and partner engagement strategies and act on feedback to continually improve the workplace experience.
  • Active involvement on our People, Culture and Community Committee focused on developing a pragmatic approach to fostering an inclusive, rewarding and values-driven culture for our people and the communities we serve.
  • Provide leadership, counsel and operational support in all aspects of organizational effectiveness to drive business results.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the areas of talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, organizational design, performance management and compensation/benefits.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Provide guidance on managing complex and sensitive human relations matters.
  • Establish open and transparent communication methods throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Translate tactical business plans and new business offerings into HR strategic and operational plans.
  • Ensure formalized performance management systems which create a culture of employee engagement and that include personal development plans, performance improvement plans and succession plans.
  • Provide vision and leadership to the organization in addressing critical human resources opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensure the culture, people practices, and programs are competitive and conducive to attract/retain talent.
  • Implement and manage compliance efforts relating to all aspects of the employee life cycle.

  • Ability to effectively present HR strategy and initiatives to all levels of the firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 12-15+ years of demonstrated progressive human resources leadership experience.
  • Professional services firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR designation desired.
  • Knowledge of HR Information Systems and software including vendor evaluation, selection and systems implementations. Experience with UKG is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of federal, state and local employment and wage laws and regulations.
  • Expert knowledge in benefits management, ideally with self-funded healthcare benefit program experience.
