Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Community Market Associate for a mission-driven nonprofit client providing dignified and equitable food access services. This full-time, onsite role is based in Dallas, TX.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Community Market Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and equitable shopping experience at the organization’s Community Market. This position coordinates the check-in and intake process, supervises volunteers and AmeriCorps members, and maintains appointment scheduling and compliance reporting. It also supports data integrity, service excellence, and ongoing improvements in shopper engagement and market operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide service leadership at the Community Market, ensuring smooth frontline operations and reinforcing equity in shopper interactions.
• Supervise and train volunteers, interns, and AmeriCorps members at service stations including Reception, Check-In, and Intake.
• Maintain and monitor the appointment scheduling system, ensuring accurate and timely access for all clients.
• Oversee daily market setup and ensure all materials and supplies are prepared for distribution.
• Facilitate warm, informative onboarding for first-time shoppers and connect them to wraparound services.
• Collect, report, and secure client data in compliance with The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and internal standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (read/write/speak)
• Demonstrated experience working with under-resourced and diverse communities
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to guide and train volunteers
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
• Adaptable and collaborative mindset with a compassionate, detail-oriented approach

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
