Job Description

PTS Advance is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Designer on behalf of a leading provider of engineered power solutions. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established company recognized for its strong workplace culture and commitment to employee development.

In this role, you'll support electrical engineering projects by producing schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings used in the manufacturing and installation of complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical .
  • Design and select components to meet functional, cost, and scheduling requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers to translate conceptual designs into technical documentation.
  • Maintain drawing libraries and parts databases.
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable safety and quality standards.
  • Perform sizing and design calculations for electrical equipment.
  • Review peer work for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Design or related field (or equivalent technical education).
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in industrial or power systems design.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN , AutoCAD Electrical , and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with NEC and UL 508A standards is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (15%+ domestic/international).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
