Job Details A growing boutique civil litigation law firm is seeking a 2–4 year Associate Attorney with experience in insurance defense and personal injury litigation to join its team. This is a hands-on role for a motivated litigator who enjoys managing complex cases and working closely with clients, expert witnesses, and court personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
*Handle all aspects of litigation from intake to trial
*Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
*Take and defend depositions
*Attend mediations, court hearings, and pre-trial conferences
*Consult with clients and expert witnesses
*Lead and manage discovery efforts
*Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy
Qualifications:
*J.D. from an accredited law school
*Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
*2–4 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience
*Experience in personal injury defense preferred
*Strong analytical, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
*Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
*Experience with Clio and Westlaw preferred
