WE ARE HIRING FLUXCORE WELDERS! $140.00 DAILY PER DIEM for travelers!

NSC has an urgent need for structural fluxcore steel welders for shipbuilding production welding in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welds using a variety of welding filler metals and processes across all phases of ship construction.
• Utilize welding processes including 2G and 3G FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding); testing required.
• Weld in all positions using manual and mechanized processes, ensuring all welds meet nondestructive testing standards (visual, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic).
• Work in diverse environments, including heights, confined spaces, and various weather conditions within the shipyard.
• Troubleshoot minor welding equipment issues.
• Complete flux cored welding tests in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions; pay rate will be based on test results.
