Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the enterprise network security infrastructure, including the design, configuration, implementation, and administration of firewall and DMZ environments, IDS/IPS environments, third-party integration, virtual private networks, and related network security environments.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and support Firewall/DMZ environments, third-party environments, load balancing environments, IDS/IPS environments, and other network-related environments.
• Provide planning, direction, and technical expertise regarding network security for local and wide area networks, the Internet, and other network environments.
• Develop network security standards and create policies/procedures for firewall and network environments, including standards for VPN, router security, and switch security.
• Investigate security threats reported by security vendors and IDS/IPS, and provide direction to responsible teams for remediation.

Required Skills and Experience :

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer.
• 3+ years supporting F5 (network load balancer).
• 3+ years supporting Palo Alto.
• Comfortable working a rotating on-call schedule, with an average of being called in twice a month.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience :

• Financial industry experience.
• Located in San Antonio, TX 787249.
