Job Description

System One is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer, Supervisor  for a  direct hire opportunity with our client based out of  Naperville, IL or Atlanta, GA . This role is open to a remote or hybrid work model , with a preference for local candidates open to a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial nuclear mechanical engineering.
  • Consulting engineering experience preferred.
  • Proficient in multidisciplinary engineering and quality management principles.
  • Professional Engineering License is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, and execute tasks to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and propose alternative solutions.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident in making technical and business decisions.
