Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the British Columbia region. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge between the British Columbia market and the national head office, ensuring that all national strategies are adapted to suit the specific characteristics and demands of the local market. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in the Vancouver and broader British Columbia retail landscape. You will have a key role in shaping business strategy, driving regional growth, and ensuring strong alignment between local operations and national objectives.

As the face of the retail operations in British Columbia, you will provide insight on consumer behavior, trends, and competition, ensuring the successful implementation of tailored sales initiatives and marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team of sales professionals, working collaboratively to achieve revenue targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Leadership: Develop tailored sales strategies for British Columbia, monitor trends, and provide feedback to ensure alignment with local preferences
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between British Columbia sales teams and head office, advocating for regional needs and ensuring effective communication
  • Sales Performance: Own sales targets, analyze performance data, and manage the sales budget for British Columbia
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high- performing sales team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing training and development
  • Customer Engagement: Build relationships with key retail partners, execute region- specific promotions, and represent the company at industry events
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and market insights to inform strategy and decision making

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • Experience: 5-7 years in retail sales management, with 3+ years in leadership roles in British Columbia
  • Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and adaptability skills
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within British Columbia and occasionally to other regions
