Rockville, MD based structural design engineering firm is currently looking for a Revit Drafter, with experince in structural production drawings, to assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of projects in our Studio. You will partner with the company’s structural engineers to ensure the execution and implementation of projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit software to create detailed 3D models
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design plans
• Prepare drawings for Healthcare, Educational, Commercial, Senior Living Facilities
• Assist in the creation of models using software like AutoCAD & Revit,
• Review and modify designs to comply with project requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and revisions

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an in-house REVIT (Structural)
• Previous experience working and implementing BIM in a structural engineering firm is preferred
• Understanding the basics of construction drawings for building structures
• Ability to effectively work with colleagues in a small business setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with organizational capabilities
• Complex and proactive problem solving
• Proven ability to take initiative, manage competing initiatives, and meet deadlines
• Able to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team
• Able to develop working relationships both internally and externally
• Personality conducive to working in a collaborative environment
