Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of complex employer-side workers’ compensation claims
• Represent clients before Workers’ Compensation Judges and Boards
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and negotiate settlements
• Strategize using medical, vocational, and expert reports
• Provide risk-prevention counsel to employers and HR teams
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff in best practices and procedural requirements
Qualifications:
• 20 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience
• Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
• Proven success representing employers in high-volume matters
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Skilled in managing time-sensitive cases and filing schedules
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act
• Proficiency with litigation software like Filevine or CAPTRUST
• Expertise in negotiations, e-filing, and legal compliance counseling
• Leadership and mentoring experience within legal teams
• Membership in PA legal organizations a plus
